Hello Let's Talk Politics friends,
Over the last year we've commiserated, discussed and supported each
other on our monthly ZOOM calls as we consider the current state of
politics. It's been a lively and respectful interchange, but over the
last few months we've had a decreasing number of attendees. Our host
Pat has faced some enormous personal challenges, and as your ZOOM tech
person I've been called away to other events on some of these Thursday
mornings.
So, it seems a good idea that we pause for the summer and regroup in
September. To keep things running smoothly we really should line up
some back up for Pat and myself. We may even want to consider changing
day/time or, if there ever is an end to Covid, think about a regular or
occasional in person session.
These meetings have been so helpful during these troubling times and I
think many of you would agree. If so, please think about ways we can
re-energize and take up the discussion in the Fall. Please feel free to
reach out with thoughts or ideas.
